Bought the telescope for my grandson. I like that the telescope has chunky knobs for little hands. As a parent, i am such a happy camper when i find toys that my children love playing but also help them learn.

I'm hopeful that he'll grow into it, assuming it actually lasts that long. He enjoys using it as the slides and descriptions keep him entertained. Got him interested on something a lot better truhan games on his ipad and video games.

    Perfect for small kids you only see pictures you cannot see the sky

    This is not a real telescope it only has pictures inside which are very effective for young kids to get a start at learning about planets and stars

    A younger child might not understand how to look in itit was a big hit for awhile but it is not a toy he comes to over and over again
