Pros & Cons

Cons
View through this item, as a microscope or as a telescope, is really fuzzy, at best. The pen is spring loaded and it burst open during the very first attempt to use it! Horrible product.
Highlights
Quality
Overall, i am very satisfied with this product.

For the price, i think it's a worthwhile pocket item.
And it is unbelievably cheap in price.
Packaging/appearance
I wasn't sure how it would work, so i snuck it out of the package to check that it worked and didn't need batteries.
Competitiveness
It has a slide-out, adjustable piece that elongates the scope and also adjusts for clarity.

The pen cant be focused so the microscope component of this only works if you put something on the table and put this directly on top of it

You could really only look at a dollar bill or insect wing or something very flat like that so it has limited usefulness

The telescope end of the pen also does not focus but it seems ok for looking at things that are far away

Weve discovered that its best to use the microscope in lots of light

This worked fairly well but was rather easy for my child to disassemble and promptly breaklose pieces of the scope which then rendered it fairly useless as a scope
