Pros
She loves using the pen to answer the questions. She needs help from an adult or older sibling who can read. The only drawback is that this isn't a quiet time activity, it could be.
The pen works good but you have to hit the black dot directly on it in order for it to light up green. The pen is large enough to comfortable fit in my 3-year old's hand without it being too bulky to hold.
Super easy packaging, we got started right away. Rewards stickers and award certificate are cute ways to encourage and reward kids. Stickers included are an added bonus!
It plays a victorious sound byte or a fail sound depending on how well you answer. Music also plays. A magnifying glass with a blue square.
Hot dots are one of my grandson's favorite activities. He knows that the pen needs to be in the middle of the black dot to register correctly. First time users may have difficulty with this fine motor skill.
Cons
This has all the hallmarks of a half baked product that was not tested and rushed to market. Unhaply customer. Unfortunately i am unable to return it as the deadline to return has passed.

This set is great for toddlers because it is interactive, hands on, and promotes math skills through patterns, numbers, etc.
