As a teacher in upper grades who focuses on positive reinforcement and practicing toward mastery, i think this feedback system works in theory and definitely works for my kid.
Love this lil game for my 4yr old nephew. He just loves all things numbers, so the grandparents thought this gift was perfect for him. My 2 year old loves to scatter the flash cards around the house so going digital was a good idea.
Cons

Will be returning. What a dissapointment. What disappoints us is that after 6-8 months, the math wiz stopped working properly. All the defective units got a one-star rating.
