Pros

Multiplication slam is a fun and engaging learning tool. This is so much better than flash cards. I hesitate to call it a toy or game but i love that educational insights has successfully combined learning and fun!

Bought this for my grandson for christmas. My 4th grader loves this. My 8yr old/3rd grader/little boy enjoys playing it and i enjoy it as well.

Right and wrong answers make a beep sound, only difference is if a wrong answer is chosen, the tone of the beep is a little lower. You can also choose to mute it entirely. There is a headphone plug in as well as volume control.

Cons

"i read this on another review and kind of didn’t believe it which is ridiculous of me. I never write reviews, especially bad ones" company clearly has a qc issue and doesn't care about their customers, they deserve a 1-star review.

The device clicks off in the middle of use. The volume is super low even when it's turned up at it's highest level, and it's glitchy-sometimes it shuts off on it's own.

The music in the background is horribly annoying and tinny. The voice that narrates the instructions and gives feedback is a high pitched extra enthusiastic voice that would fit better with toddler toys. The * are actually hard to push - which leads y... Read More

Best tool ever to get my kid engaged in learning math facts!

Their math skills have definitely improved and they’ve grown confidence too.

Bought this for the little one to practice multiplication on without constantly hovering to make sure she didn’t change apps on the tablet.

I haven't tested the jack, but the volume control turned the volume off completely and could be adjusted to be easily heard.

Price

I think it is an excellent learning tool which is fun and engaging as well as affordable.

$30 is a lot of money to just throw away on the first one.

They will certainly get my money's worth out of it.
