Recommend buying the sets that come with the storage box.
I think this toy is similar to play dough where it is more fun to add in some toys of your own to go with the them of the set.

Packaging/appearance
Initially he loved the packaging but once opened we now store it in a plastic container with a lid.
It needs to be dug out of the package and you can't get it out in a good shape.
It comes with different colors of the playfoam in different shapes.
Competitiveness
This type of activity lets kids feel a different texture other than the typical playdoh which is a huge plus.
So fun and not messy at all--my new favorite alternative to play-doh!

You do have to watch and not let it fall on the floor because hairs will stick to it like crazy

It is hard to make a tall creation because there is really no support with foam balls and sticky stuff

I will also say if it will bother you or your kids that the shapes and colors will get mixed up they wont have as much fun with it
