Pros
The idea with the phone is that it never dries out. I find this to be easier to work with then play-doh and does it make as much of a mess. I like that they included a little dot area so that it makes it easier to grab the molded foam out.
This sandcastle with floam is super cute! The sandcastle has a handle for carrying and molds for using with the floam. Everything fits in the package which is a huge plus.

The kids enjoy the set. I have a 4 year old that loves anything stretchy, slimy, doughy, or sandy. My 4 yearold is especially interested in textures and shapes.
It’s finally a kinesthetic toy that i don’t mind my kids playing with inside our house. I love that it creatively engages my son for easily an hour or more.
Cons
Because it's crumbly, it makes a big mess. It's like playing with dried out marshmallow rice crispies treats. Do yourself a favor and buy playdoh instead.

What is cool is that there are a handful of little sea creatures that comes along with it, and they are very solid and well made.
It sticks to itself very well, which makes it great for molding just about anything.
Styrofoam beads makes me feel bad about more plastic pollution when it inevitably ends up in the trash
I have had this foam for over a year now and the foam has lost it's sticky.
Price
For the value of money it was great while it lasted, but don't expect it too last forever.
