Pros

The only real negative to the eero system is that as of august 2017 there really aren’t any advanced network options to configure if you needed them. Anything that safeguards my home is worth the money.

I hate when electronics don't work as i am not the most technologically savvy and this was so easy to set up and works great! It is optional but i didn't really think twice. Easy set up. Assign any device/devices to a profile.

This is by far the best setup i’ve ever had. Surprised by their agility and response. This product is fabulous.

Cons

Sonos wi-fi problems have been a problem for over a year. Some smart home devices will only connect via 2. Ghz. Switched back to a basic verizon router - problem solved.

Do not buy this pos. You ant take 500 bucks and get away with 4. Poor system and no support.

Beacons no longer offer a dedicated lan port, so if you did have lan in some parts of your house it is harder to take advantage of. It's not a full router replacement at all. There are certain rooms in my house where i have what appear to be excellent... Read More

It is simply fast and easy to install and control

This worked, but was slow and the unifi's required the use of controller software on one of my computers.

It really did set up that fast and the internet speed is super fast.

Competitiveness

Worked like a champ, right out of the box.

I then tried 2 google onhubs, tp-link version, when they were released (which google subsequently dropped support for), they stank.

Oddly, the office consistently reports higher speeds, 34,000 down and 22,000 up.

I replaced the airports with ubiquiti unifi lr hotspots (a 3 pack).
