Pros

The mesh works great. The only downside is the content filtering requires subscription. Yes, it's more pricey, but it is worth it.

Eero is an excellent mesh network system for a mesh network. It has a built-in beacon that can be used to connect to other mesh networks. The wifi range is good with single network name password.

My house is 5,000 sqft and this beast covers every inch! Signal strength and speed is only slightly diminished on the fourth floor. Excellent coverage throughout house including outside on our deck.

Cons

I am disappointed by the product, and will look into returning it. I am sure amazon can make much better advanced management tool so that this toy can work for most people.

Instructions from eero support are so complicated one needs a techie to troubleshoot. There should be a “ toggle” type setting to select spectrum.

My only complaint is that they are a little pricey and as such should have some of the premium subscription features be included for free.

Bought on prime day then price drops.
