Pros & Cons
Pros
I prop the solar panel on the fence, table/chairs since that's what i have to work with. The case doubles as a stand to hold the panel at an angle to maximize solar power.
Compared to a 200w mono panel i used previously this thing has more output from a 160w which i’m surprised by. On a bright sunny day, the panel brings in anywhere between 45watts to 60 watts. Nothing beats using the sun to power every day devices and ... Read More
This is a very well constructed panel that is relatively lightweight. The panels are compact, lightweight, and easily stored in the storage bag provided. It is easy to setup and very portable.
Bought with the extra battery and 160w panel. Never had to get to the backup battery. You need the adapter cable comes with the ecoflow battery.
Cons
The stand that holds the panel upright is a pathetic designed. The panel is very heavy.
Ecoflow panels are a really nice package that delivers very poor power. They look really nice, but they don't deliver. Do yourself a favor and look at other brands before purchasing.
Highlights
Quality
Build quality is top notch very impressive.
Since this is my first solar panel, i can't really compare the quality to other competing brands.
Also the panel concerns me with the heat.
You need the adapter cable comes with the ecoflow battery to connect them.
Price
Hopefully the price comes down soon and i can purchase another one for my e-bike.
Shipping
That doesn't bother me, i just want to know how fast it charges the battery.
Packaging/appearance
Upon unboxing the solar panels and packaging are impressive.
I also have to commend ecoflow for the packaging.
Competitiveness
Compared to a 200w mono panel i used previously this thing has more output from a 160w which i’m surprised by.
I had previously purchased a set of 200w suitcase panels from renogy and returned them for these ecoflow panels--i couldn't be happier!
Which is about 78%-83% output for a 160w panel, which is disappointing for the premium price you pay for these panels.
If you're on the fence looking at some competitor models, give these ones a shot, i don't think you'll be disappointed!
