Pros
The delta max has the ability to provide 3400w of power with ease using x-boost technology. Getting higher numbers by splitting the solar panels. We also have 2 160 watt panels that keep the batteries topped off during the day.
The batteries are a game changer. For me it was easly achieved. Realizing more was needed bought another max. Used 5 days during ian.
Self-sustaining 24 hour solar charge/discharge cycle. Even if you already have a gas powered generator. It’s very quiet and extremely gas efficient.
The customer service is outstanding. Pricey yes, quality yes.
Cons
I find that number to be incredibly inefficient. Unworkible for placement within occupied room of the house. After hours upon hours got nowhere with customer telephone support and technical support chat.
It's hard to believe that this unit doesn't come with a connecting cable. Considering how many lithium batteries catch fire in the news, i'm concerned about the overload message on the screen. It defeats the purpose of having solar backup.

Love the extra power and like all ecoflow products i tried it works flawlessly!
This product is amazing middle of the road solar generator with the capacity to make your life comfortable during a power outage.
According to the user manual the battery can only be stored at 60% and then discharged to 30% every three months.
The extra battery above it shows only 115w of input.
Price
Hard to justify lfp cost over this lithium ion battery
Not a big deal but kind of annoying and a huge miss for a device being sold as an emergency backup.
Shipping
I received this unit just before going on a week long camping trip and figured it out in a day.
I just recently purchased the two external batteries when they came for shipping purposes they were almost depleted in energy.
Competitiveness
I researched several battery solar generators and i have to say in my opinion that ecoflow gives you the most bang for your buck.
Everything kept pointing back at the ecoflow being the best brand product available on the market.
