Pros & Cons
Pros
A heat pump works in reverse of an air conditioner and uses pressure to warm up the outdoor, cool air for release indoor. It takes longer to warm a space than a furnace, buts its energy efficiency makes it suitable for travel where power could be at a... Read More
I own a number of ecoflow products and they're phenomenal. Ecoflow keeps innovating, they listen to their customer feedback and tweak their products for improvement. Thrilled with it.
There are many sensors on the unit so you can tell exactly what it’s doing via the app. It's responsive, and it's user friendly. I prefer word labels instead of icons and not everything on the front panel was obvious.
The wave 2 consumes about 300w of power when using ac input and is as powerful as my ac window unit! There’s a soft start feature coded into the unit and slowly will build up to the max wattage draw. This is great because it's “efficient”, but i’d pre... Read More
Before installing, watch some only videos and insulate the necessary piping. This is tough when you're a nomad on the road all the time. The installation is very easy and effortless.
Cons
That is ridiculous. Unethical in my book. This is beyond unacceptable.
This unit is over priced for portable ac. The unit is heavy and has no carrying handle, like the bouge rv air conditioner. This makes moving what is supposed to be a highly portable unit cumbersome. It drains the battery in a short time trying to main... Read More
It works fine if it's overcast and the temp is below 85. When the temperature drops to below 50 degrees fahrenheit, the heat pump shuts off.
Lowering to a 1. Eco mode does a mediocre job. Not ruggedized. I doubt this thing really puts out the 5k that it is rated for.
The screen also glitches and is impossible to see any of the readout. They tell me to un-plug it and wait 10min then try again.

Keep in mind this is a mini-unit that can run off of batteries, it's cooling and sipping power to provide ac air for hours.
With temperature dialed to 72f degrees, eco mode turned on, and timer set to shut off by midnight, the 1,008wh ef wave add-on b... Read More
Battery powers the wave 2 but you can't charge the battery with no cord nor can you update the firmware, that is a/c only.
Price
Not using the ducts would work, but at a great cost to efficiency, time, and power consumption.
While a little pricey, for the money, the features you get in this unit are pretty unbeatable.
I even wasted another $1200 on two extra batteries.
We shall see after i sell or donate some old items and figure out my review budget.
Shipping
Delivery and unboxing:the wave 2 was delivered very quickly and arrived without any issues.
No set address for shipping or returns.
They shipped a pair of thin plastic ones ($7) to be taped onto the unit's exterior chassis on the front and back.
Say they will e-mail in a couple of days.
Competitiveness
Ecoflow's smartphone app (available for both apple ios and android) was the same one used with the delta power stations.
Cost and app controlprice wise without their respective add-on battery, the wave 2 commanded a $300 higher premium than the zer... Read More

However, if space and weight were a concern for you and the space to be cooled was small, then the zero breeze might be a better choice.

The ecoflow app does not have access to the bluetti or it’s performance
