This is a 1 inch long cylinder not a 78 it becomes 78 by having the locking tab bent inward an extra 18

Also with this lock if the lock is in the open position you can not remove the key from the lock

One issue is when the lock is unlocked the key cannot be removed

They turn past lock just enough to make the key difficult to get out but otherwise are great locks
