The cover for my 2-stage snowblower simply doesn't fit. No zipper. You can flip them and get another fresh shoe but these just seems like a cash grab by ego.

Great solid tool to remove snow that has gotten stuck .
Works as advertised removing snow/ice buildup between the blower blades.
This will catch on every crack in a sidewalk or driveway requiring you to push the handle down to lift the blower.
These drift cutters are much thicker and sturdier then i expected.

Packaging/appearance
My biggest complaint is the box did not come with any instructions inside it or on the box as to how to install them.
Competitiveness
But using it this way becomes inconvenient compared to other snow blowers (including ego) that utilize these adjustable side skid shoes.

These are pretty generic and will work for other machines but the bolts that come with it are too big for the mtd machine i installed them on

I find that i never lower the arms so the wingnuts arent necessary for my use

The bolts i believe are 10 mm that were to big for my 30inch track driven cub cadet so i had to buy 38inch bolts i also used large washers and spring washers with wing nuts

The metal is thick and heavy so should have no problem with drifts

No i don’t…that’s not only unnecessary but it would put the bottom of the cover in the wet
