Pros

The mower is lightweight and can be stored inside. It's lightweight enough to carry down the basement stairs. Despite being mostly plastic, it is quite durable.

The self-propelled motor works great, but does fade some as the battery depletes. The speed is adjustable so just up it one click and your good to go. The self propel function is awesome, dont even need to touch it except to keep the mower running.

Ego mower and other ego tools share the same batteries (string trimmer, edger, and blower) the battery charges in 30ish minutes. If you have a small urban or suburban property this is all you need. First time using an electric mower.

Cons

Even though it has a 3-5 year warranty, it's not transferrable to another person. The wiring harness keeps going bad. Either way, this mower is waaay to expensive for the performance you receive.

When it gets stuck it shows an error light and takes a good 20-30 sec to reboot. Even sharpening the blade did not fix the problem. I have a garage full of ego tools and will never purchase another.

Ego accepts the statement and receipt but says i need to drive 45 minutes to a service center 30 miles away that magically appeared after they said the would replace the lawn mower.

Next day i no human; your call is very important to us interleaved with irritating music. No callback.

I paid $799 for this mower last fall.

It was more expensiuve but worth every penny from what i can tell.

It arrived in less than two days along with free shipping!

I contacted ego customer service in the middle of the day and spoke to a customer service rep without any time on hold.

It was delivered a day earlier without even ringing the doorbell and left on my front porch.

My major comment will be about the purchase delivery.

Competitiveness

This ego mower is head and shoulders better than the previous other brands.

Far better than the kobalt brand from lowe's and better battery power & overall resources/tools!

Recently purchased the mower to replace a john deere js46.

The mower is very light compared to my cub cadet even with the battery installed.
