Pros & Cons
Pros
The powerful 56-volt lithium-ion battery provides impressive runtime. Allows me to clear my driveway and walkways without having to stop and recharge.
The lightweight allows you to maneuver much easier than the heavier gas blower that has auger-propulsion.
Once they were warmed inside the house charging was no longer a problem. Also typed in serial numbers for each battery and the charger. Still have 60% battery life left.
Cons
Super frustrated. Very disappointing. But this one is a disappointment. This is wimpy.
The 35' throwing distance is an absolute lie. Mostly threw snow 10’.
Snt2112 is good for occasional use in only ideal snow conditions. Bought a gas-powered ariens instead. Battery warranty of 3 years is insufficient. Get the more powerful model with two 7 amp batteries or get a gasoline blower.
Trying to get traction in order to push it is near impossible, as it leaves a thin slippery layer of compacted snow in it's wake. Sometimes the * moves on its own and spits snow backwards. Anything over 8 depth causes it to bind up.
Does not work anywhere close to advertised. Worst part is i've posted (2) reviews on ego's website and they aren't posting them. Avoid this product.
Highlights
Quality
Powerful, easy to clean, easy to move forward and back as needed to hit a troublesome or icy section.
This ego had plenty of power, good throw distance on the snow and handled drifts over 12" easily.
Come with 2 powerful lithium batteries cranks up on 1st start.
After 2 rounds of clearing the driveway and city sidewalks, 25% of charge was remaining.
Price
This package with 4x10a hour is a great deal.
I wanted 2 extra batteries so i clicked on the square next to it with 4 batteries to save money.
We didnt want to hire a snowplow this year as we only were plowed a few times in recent years, and it was way too much money/plow.
The price was higher but after using it a couple of times, it is well worth the money.
Shipping
Called ego customer service and they sent a replacement part right away, which was easy to install.
I was able to clear out my driveway very quickly even though i waited several days.
It arrived quickly and only required the chute to be installed.
I bought this during 2023 thanksgiving weekend, it was delivered as assembled except the tube through which the snow is thrown out.
Competitiveness
I was able to add another 200' of sidewalk (to the mail center) as well as a neighbors similarly sized driveway.
I tried cheaper snow blowers but they just don't do the job.
One storm left about 6 inches of extremely wet snow, i had to use half of the chute but it still did great, better than my othe... Read More
Overall impression was that its snow shifting performance was probably similar to my old gas powered snowblower and the batteri... Read More

There is no circumstance where this blower would throw snow that far in my experience but honestly most situations don’t require that
