Pros

Came to me undamaged from amazon during shipping and very easy to assemble. Easy to assemble, intuitive.

Lightweight and maneuverable. Maneuverability is fantastic. One downside is the * design.

The city snowplow makes a considerable ridge at the end of our driveway. This snowblower did my driveway, my sidewalk and my next door neighbors house.

Thos snow blower does well with several snow types. It was a powdery snow, we usually get the heavy wet stuff. Also thos takes batteries.

This snowblower always starts. It takes some serious effort in the super heavy deep stuff (as it does with all snowblowers) especially when trying to plow out the berm and on the walkway from the roof avalanches.

Cons

Ego snow blower has low-end torque that jams the gearbox and destroys it. Getting to the motor/gear unit requires almost complete disassembly of the complete thrower. Build quality is abysmal at best.

Price

My only complaint is the price point.

First of all, the price listed without batteries or a charger seems highly inflated.

Shipping

Ego did a very good job of packing snowblower for shipping.

Came to me undamaged from amazon during shipping and very easy to assemble.

Turns out it was damaged in shipping.

Ego support says i need to contact amazon and ship it back, but you end up destroying the shipping box to get the blower off the pallet.

Packaging/appearance

It was pretty quick to assemble out of the box.

Competitiveness

If you already have a pair of 5ah batteries this will handle an 800 sq ft driveway no problem depending on wheel and auger speed.

5ah battery from my ego mower and hunt down a good deal on a 10ah to save some money.

This thing chewed through the 12" drift like a champ.

The higher capacity batteries will have competition later this year and drop in price.
