My computer is approximately 50’ away from my router with 3 walls in the path. The computer sets under my desk with a 6ft cable attached to it as well.

Download speed shoots up to 250mb`s then drops to 100 and stays there. The upload jumps to 250 then drops immediately and cuts out, sputters out and drops to 20mb's. It is useless to me, and i either must make a return (on a $15 item) or buy an adapte... Read More

Maybe it's not compatible or maybe it's a dud. The adapters on the end of the cable are something other than the socket on my frontier router.

I'm not sure how it compares to other antennas, but i would imagine it's typical.

There is still one dead spot but i'm rarely there, and everywhere else is better reception.
