The robe is wonderful and can be used throughout pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum. It's easy to breastfeed in. Hot flashes and temp control is a thing post partum so it's nice to have layers even for night time feedings.
The dress is the same soft fabric, with a flattering elastic waistline and a peel-away top. There's a slit on the skirt that is figure accentuating. Oh, and the dress piece opens up. This night gown/ robe combo is wonderful.
The robe is very roomy and has a removable tie. The robe also has pockets that nicely fit your phone or other small items.

These pieces machine wash well without getting all wrinkled, and the seams are well done.
Really loose and flowy without looking frumpy.
I washed it before wearing and it does not pill/stays consistently stretchy.
