Shorts have an elastic waist with a drawstring. The elastic waistband will keep the shorts in place. The shorts are drawstring, so i can loosen or tighten them if i need to.

I just received my order and loved the set so much that i bought it in another color.

The color is as pictured by the seller; it's very pretty, but i wouldn't call it navy.

I chose the khaki color because it was neutral just incase i had to run to the mailbox in my night clothes!
