Elago was the only vendor on amazon who makes the macbook case without the unnecessary air vent on the bottom of the case that only let dust in

I think maybe my expectations have been anchored by mobile phone cases which have reached epic protection levels by some brands

This was a replacement for the one i had preinstalled on my macbook pro at purchase which quickly cracked at the corners within weeks and several feet fell off leaving a scratch connector behind making me think twice before placing my laptop on a clients desk or table

It does not attach as tightly as its predecessor and has come loose several times while handling or moving the laptop which might lead to disaster
