The lid panel has a clever notch that grips the case notch for opening. Doesn't take up much space. And doesn't fling closed or anything. It adheres to the ear bud case with adhesive.

Cons

Adhesion is not strong enough to actually keep the bud case covered. The top case only has one adhesion and only attaches to the back. When trying to open the galaxy buds, the case lifts up and not the entire top to get your buds out. It is not durabl... Read More

This case is a complete waste of my bucks. Its flimsy. Update, after a few months of purchased. And almost looks lopsided.
