The raphnet adapter is the only adapter confirmed to work with wiitars. If you buy this (or any adapter) and it works, i suggest putting tape over the wii remote slot and cutting out a small square on the back cover so you can store the adapter in the... Read More

Only thing that hasn't worked is the whammy bar. Works like a charm!

There's some serious contention about whether or not this works with clone hero. Worked with my aerosmith wii guitar on clone hero. You just have to assign the controls manually within the game.

Used a gh3 wiitar les paul. Does the job i needed it to do and give me some awesome guitar hero nostalgia. I'm using a wii guitar, model is wii-033.

Cons

Windows even notifies me that the device has been removed despite it still being plugged in.

There is one downside and it’s that you don’t get star power tilt or whammy functionality with this adapter.

I am using this with the 55$ wii guitar sold here on amazon.

Shipping

(whammy bar and tilt does not work) it arrived in 2 days with a guitar controller that i also bought on amazon.

Just be prepared to ship it back, i read reviews that this did not work for some buyers.

Sadly the whammy bar doesn’t work if your tryna use a wii guitar, but in all it’s a perfect prouduct and came in super nice packaging!
