Pros

We encourage you to revise your review and submit it again. This trackball is a definite recommend! It seems to work well.

Fast/normal cursor speed switch is very handy. Logitech marble has less friction, and swapping one into this product improves it. Center scroll wheel has a bit of a wiggle left and right before you hit the actual scroll left or right.

I think that's a reasonable durability for daily use. Seem to be cheeper than other trackball but do the job for my casual activities.

Cons

Logitech has a well known and consistent problem with the button switches. Un-plugging and re- plugging the mouse fixes the issue, but it's beyond annoying and renders this mouse unusable. The main * on the elecom are little sensitive requiring very l...  Read More

Your cursor jumps around quite unacceptably. The ball gets sticky constantly, so it is impossible to move the cursor with any precision. For instance the cursor jumps as much as two characters when attempting tiny moves.

It is almost unusable. Buyer beware. Could not remedy / mitigate the situation.

The elecom seems to have a serious hardware issue in the scroll wheel. I have to unistall and restart to get the mouse working again, but no 3rd-button, and no left/right scroll using the wheel. Scrolling on a page became tiresome very quickly.

Quality

Other than that, i would definitely recommend this product!

Great alternative to the m570, and as mentioned by others works well with the logitech blue ball :)i got the wired trackball mouse.

The documentation in english doesn't came with the trackball.

They're the same size but the m570 ball doesn't have the sparkles in it causing the wonky tracking.

Packaging/appearance

Easy fix - swap out the grey ball and put in the blue ball from the m570.

Works perfectly with the blue ball from the m570.

I downloaded the elecom mouse assistant and there was no mapping of the mouse buttons in the documentation.

No name packaging with no literature for a start.

Competitiveness

So overall i'm really happy and would go with elecom again.

I have been using the logitech m570 for a few years now and it has been a great mouse overall.

Used an m570 for years and i just received m-xt3 today after yet another issue with my m570 (forward button stopped working).

Had to use it with elecom m-xt3drbk mouse assistant.
