Four aa batteries are needed to operate the sharpener but unfortunately these are not supplied

Pricewise its at the lower end of the middle price range for like items and it does sharpen pencils very well but even though it is basically equivalent to four non electric hand held sharpeners it could be considered a luxury stationery item

Initially i thought that the sharpener was faulty but it actually has a safety feature and the the sharperner wont work until the waste unit is correctly clicked in place
