The bugs seem very attracted to it and they get zapped with 4200v as soon as they touch the inside of the unit. We currently have it sat on the stairs and it’s zapping away on a fairly regular basis.

I'm really happy with the bug zapper.
I was looking for something to help with the mosquito problems because we get a number of rain, and that brings in a number of mosquitoes.
That's what i did with the flies on the table and will need to give that a good scrub.

Most mosquito repellent lamps are effective against mosquitos but of the many lamps tested so far only two are effective against flies and this is one of those two products

They get one hell of a shock which kills a lot of them instantly the odd few seem to survive it but either go back for a second shock or conk out after a few minutes

We do keep it on if there are flies in the kitchen and until we go to bed and have the other lights off to really draw the bugs to it
