I feel a small percentage of these have some minor issues, and with the great customer service - it is worth a try. But very happy with this kettle. Would definitely buy again. No complaints.
It heats water pretty quick. It heats faster than the stove by a long shot. For my large french press, it takes about 3-ish minutes to heat enough water.

Cons
The lid is not sealed properly. The beeping it makes is too loud and repetitive. The inside of this kettle has rust spots already, after only two months of use.

The kettle is well made with all stainless steel interior and the fit and finish is as good as kettles twice the price.
I decided to keep it anyway because of the design and other features and the price.
Shipping
Overall i like this kettle, it heats up fast and and has good temp controls.
This one gets warm but will not burn you, heats up very fast also.
Packaging/appearance
It is pretty enough to leave out on the countertop.
The outside of the kettle remains cool.

I have to be sure to press one edge of the button to get it open

Getting the lid to open can be a trip you have to push the button down which also pushes the lid down

I find a quick tap of the side of the button closest to the handle gets it to open most times
