You used to make quality tools, these are a scam. Most, if not all, of starrett tools are now made in china.

Wow these are horrible for the money. Overall quality and feel is somewhat inferior to the mitutoyo caliper.

Price

I highly recommend it, a bit pricey, but i personally don’t regret it.

This caliper is in the “goldilocks” region; reasonably priced, and accurate/repeatable to the 0.

I personally wouldn’t spring for a cheap version of calipers.

A bit pricier than i had expected but my dad still has old starett and mututoyo stuff from years ago so i figured i’d get my own.

Product arrived on time and in good condition.

Comes in a decent plastic case with foam inside to protect the caliper.

Competitiveness

Starrett is a trusted brand that i will choose from now forward.

In comparison to the mitutoyo caliper i received it had uneven calipers that required metal to be removed before it would close.

You can buy cheaper but you can't buy better.

I recently bought these calipers to replace my last set made by a different company.
