My niece is obsessed with this blanket. I usually keep a blanket draped on the back of our recliner. I read in my rocker, and use this thicker blanket for my dog to make him comfortable.
I have other similar throws that are thicker, but this was adequate for the price. The only reason i gave this 4 and not 5 is because i expected it to be slightly heavier.
Each year, for christmas, each of my grandchildren receive a new christmas blanket, from the youngest to the oldest. Her favorite one. Bought as a gift for mother in law.

It’s very very thin but i’m going to use it on the guest bed for a pop of color so it will do the job

Very soft and pretty but after washing in cold water gentle cycle red does not look as vibrant as it did originally
