Theyre not a miracle cure for high heat on their own but they work really well with a cool gel pillow

I appreciate that the two sides of the pillowcase are different one side has a satin slippery finish that feels cool to the touch while the other side feels more like thin breathable cotton which isnt as cool to the touch

However if you have a really thick pillow getting these pillowcases on can be a bit of a hassle since the zipper is shorter than the width of the pillowcase

However keep in mind that you cant really flip to the cool side of the pillow with these so consider that before buying

The cooling effect doesnt last but that has been the case with the others that i have tried as well
