Overall:overall this seems really well done and i look forward to purchasing more elgato products in the future (radiator valves etc).
A great addition to the home automation world.
Battery came almost dead, so make sure you have a cr2450 battery ready to use.
It comes very well packaged and presented, in-keeping with other homekit products.

The device was extremely easy to setup i just scanned the qr code on a sticker on the bottom of the device into my already set up apple home app

Because there is no central hub in my current setup im unsure if when paired with one the eve unit will be accessible from outside the home
