Pros

The degree lets you check the temperature or humidity on the screen. It works with apple's homekit app or its own app. Accurate digital temp and keeps daily stats on your phone or tablet.

Super compact and sleek. Download speed is much better than their first gen products.

Works great with the 4th gen apple tv as the homekit hub. No range issues at all. The unit does a good job of staying connected.

Cons

Re-read specs. Would not start up or respond to reset button.

Eve degree connected weather station is only rated to 0f degrees. Lack of warning when the battery is low. The battery needs to either last a year or the product needs to be rechargeable.

Worked until mid november when the bluetooth died, so it no longer responds to the home app. The homekit integration only works if the app is open and the device is in range.

After four months, and temperatures in the 70º-90º range, the battery is at 25%.

After about two months in use i noticed that the eve app was having difficulty updating input from the sensor.

Price

I think $49 would be a solid price for this.

It's a lot of money for what it does, but it tells me what i wanted to know.

Competitiveness

It works great and the download speed (when using the eve app) is much better than their first gen products.

)i suppose if i was going to buy another temperature sensor, i might consider another brand due to the battery life.

My only other complaint is that the temperature randomly switched to celcius, which confused my family.
