Pros

This is easily one of the best purchases i've made this year. I love where elgato is going with their products & excited to see more from them. Very pleased with this.

It’s a little more expensive than other capture cards, but quality is not something you want to skimp out on. The elgato also has better temperatures compared to bmd cards. Definitely not a deal breaker and understood for the price of the card.

This capture card is an absolute beast! It’s definitely the best looking! I call it a monster because it really is just that.

Cons

Be cautious when purchasing this capture card if planning on using it for a dual pc setup. It seems like it was made more for console recording rather then dual pc. Unless you have a top line pc just for streaming it's not worth in my opinion.

Video is choppy, laggy and sub par quality. Used to gaming at 4k and close to 144 hz with a low millisecond response time.

With console recording, i ran into zero performance issues, and the quality is outstanding.

And for days i want to play on a console, the quality is great!

I don't think i'd have paid full price, but not because the product isn't worth it.

Those of you who have an og xbox one/ps4, nintendo switch or hdmi capable xbox 360/ps3 shouldn’t shy away from the 4k60 pro.

Competitiveness

Having a 1440p monitor is hard to stream with a 1080p card so this was a must.
