Quality
Great product, works very well, installed on windows 8, using it to stream our live services at our church.
You can look on my channel, marsian (with female holding a knife profile picture) to see the quality and how the picture looks.
Camera quality is nice to look at for long periods of time, but i have not tried it with streaming.
There's a slight latency when recording, but since setting up the product, i have had no set backs.
Price
For the price i really can’t complain.
Competitiveness
Fairly easy to set up, great quality, definitely check your system requirements to see if you need a gfx card upgrade

It was a bit frustrating to set up though most of that stems from me i completely forgot what version i bought and so spent three days trying to install the wrong driver for it

To install you also have to download the softwareapp on your laptop

Pros great picture quality good audio commentary voice recording works with ps3 and ps4cons cords everywhere mess up your commentary have to completely start the recording over if your picture on your software laptop has some distortion to it and you have to close reopen the software to get it to work elgato employees will blame it on your laptop not meeting the full requirements

That in itself can get problematic especially if it happens in the middle of your recording

Found out the hdmi port was broken i used composite cords to try to compensate for that but it wasnt good enough for me then came this device
