Pros & Cons
Pros
This dehydrator is compact but packs a punch. Compact yet holds a good amount. Feels sturdy. The pros outweigh the cons.
This thing is an unbelievable jerky making machine. Bananas take 10 hrs and still was a little sticky, but they were good. Used 1/4in sliced london broil.
It is more energy efficient, and reliable with the temperature controls, than using my oven. It has two tray height settings and the temperature controll is spot on. The instruction manual it comes with helps a lot to get you started.
Highlights
Quality
My garden produce came on strong, and this dehydrator worked flawlessly for me while doing cucumber and zucchini chips.
Easy to clean, very durable, the fruits taste great.
I sliced my produce to about 1/4 inch thickness and filled all the trays.
They were completely dried out in 8 hours.
Price
I am pleased with my purchase of this dehydrator, and for under $40 i think it's a bargain.
It's a great buy for the price.
But for the price and the fact i am only an occasional user, it will work.
I love the price, size and number of trays, but mostly the fact that it is basically a set it and forget it appliance.
Shipping
The checkout process was smooth, and i received my order promptly.
Packaging/appearance
Item arrives well packaged and is pretty sturdy.
The elite gourmet food dehydrator arrived in excellent condition, exactly as described in their online store.

Would recommend some silicone sheets if one is drying very small stuff though as the openings in the shelves are larger
