Black rice comes out perfectly cooked, thoroughly seasoned all the way thru and moist. The temp is easy to control from eggs to steaks.

It fits all the criteria i was looking for. Great and needful safety feature in my opinion. Is very versatile.

Unlike some other electric skillets, it heats evenly and consistently. Easily mitigated by using one handle and holding power plug on other side. This pan conducts the heat with a circular element.

Love the deep dimension - it helps with spatters too. Needed something for small counter space. It has a hot ring all the way around, approximately 3 inches from the sides and about 2-3 inches wide.

The frying temp is 50 degrees low when frying chicken have to crank up the heat dial to 400 to maintain 350 degrees. The surface is not non-stick, and where food sticks, it cannot be cleaned except with a knife.

Skillet no longer heats up! Is it any use in contacting any body? It's not safe to use now. This was sold as a new item but had obviously been repackaged.

Performance falls short in terms of durability and temperature control. The thermostat does nothing. But the connection requires upward pressure and propping the temp control unit up to maintain power.
