Pros
The water cup comes with a mental piercing needle at the end of it. Fill the water container, place the eggs in (pierced side facing up), and wait for it to beep.
This egg boiler is very quick and easy to use. Steaming vs boiing the eggs. It's great for both hard and soft boiled eggs.
Deviled eggs for a party. Easy to clean with a little vinegar. My grandson even uses it with no problem and he is 10.
Cons
This model fails to deliver. Never worked correctly. Will order something else. Needs to be simplified.
Tried to make hard boiled eggs and was unable to. Given the inherent inconsistency of the device it doesn't matter. The material for the heating plate (base where liquid steams the eggs) is poor quality.

It does poach and make a little omelette but its just too small for that and its not the same as stovetop but if you want a quick one egg omelette this will make you one

The lettering fades and comes off of the measuring cup carefully when you wash it

The alarm on this thing is loud and does not stop until you unplug it so i donated to charity after only one use
