This item is fabulous. Yolk comes out perfectly. Eggs are very versatile and this gadget helps by saving loads of time.

Takes the guesswork out of boiling eggs. In about 12 minutes the alarm goes off and you have a great batch of hard boiled eggs.

Cons

I am very disappointed that the quality of the product is so poor. Never heard back from the manufacturer. I hope the company that sells these sees my post.

The eggs do peel nicely, but i realized that is because of the recommended egg piercing and then running water underneath the shells. The inside was stained from a spill or something.

The cooker does not cook/boil eggs, it steams them with water vapors. Doing this, the cooker produces hard boiled eggs. The boiled eggs with a runny interior yolk.
