Pros & Cons
Pros
Gadget holds seven eggs and cooks them perfectly. Probably a pretty decent occassional cooker.
It does what it says it dos. It works fair for poached eggs. It is easy for him to use as it beeps when the eggs are done.
I like the yoke cooked all the way but fluffy. Perfect hard boiled.
Cons
This egg cooker is advertised to automatically shut off when the eggs are done. Black substance leaches from the plastic tray onto the base. Burner creates a burning smell and the hot plate gets rusty.
Elderly and ill, do not have original packaging, and think mfgr should send me a new one that works. Broken after 3 mos. I have to contact them multiple times each step before they respond.
Buyer beware. The outcome of the eggs is always way too unpredictable and frustrating. I'm sure i'm *.

Using regular tap water will leave mineral deposit stains on the heating element surface so you should do as the instructions say and use distilled water or if you have to use regular tap water wipe the heating surface with white vinegar after you’ve cooked your eggs
