Pros
After one use freezes ice cream better than our previous two older units and they were good quality. I expect this leaking issue will decrease or go away all together after a few more uses. The manual seems very nostalgic.
Cons
This product is not worth 100 bucks in my opinion. Having never used one before, i don't even know how it goes together, so it's useless. I just recommend getting a cheaper plastic model and save the twenty to thirty extra dollars.
The 1st order was shipped via the united states postal service, the box was damaged, and the wooden bucket was broken in several places upon arrival. Now the question is can i get a refund for the gift giver? But it really is just a dud.
As the ice cream starts to thicken, the plastic lid just slips off. It makes a sloppy milkshake-like consistency. I now have to go through the frustrating process of photographing and filming this bucket to try for one that will hold water.

First, i’d like to note that this shipped quickly and arrived in perfect time!
I received this earlier in the summer and we just got around to making ice cream this past weekend and it turned out amazing.
Packaging/appearance
It came packaged perfectly with everything in its own section and protect.
The package comes with all the necessary equipment to make the ice cream as well as an instruction booklet that includes recipes!
Second, it was packaged correctly and therefore, the package and contents arrived with no damage.
Competitiveness
Within an hour or less, the ice cream is ready and it is so much better than store bought ice cream!

Aside from being bigger than my old maker the motor on this one actually locks to the sides of the tub

I was not happy about the shape the shipping box was in when it arrived which is becoming the routine but thankfully the item was not damaged

Another nice aspect of the container is that is comes with a lid so you can make your ice cream and store it for later consumption without needing another container
