Pros

No leaks, looks good, great for what it is. Some pieces are slightly fragile and fall often, yet considering the price i didn't expect better. I completely recommend!

It holds temperatures properly, near as i can tell. Heats to 212 in about 4m. It heats quickly--before she forgets!

The glass pot is removable for pouring the hot water out or filling the cold water in. It safely shuts off power after the water boils. It's easy enough to fill up a measuring cup and pour it right into the heater.

Cons

The lid seems like it is going to be a problem. The mechanism to open the lid feels cheap. Seems like a hazard. The electric kettle is a fire hazard.

Water boils in to hot with in a min or less than a minute.

It's so much better than the white kettle i bought before, which broke after less than two months of use.

Price

My wife likes her new kettle, and the price is great.

No frills or extra gadgets yet at under 20$ it has held up very well with daily use.

Very inexpensive kettle that does just one thing well: heats water to boiling fast.

I do prefer one with temperature controls but alas, that isn’t in the budget right now.
