The grill plate is very sturdy and heats up rather quickly. And, yes, the lid isn't very tall, but it's a grill.

Cons

Was very poorly repackaged. No seller to contact. Not worth it. If you feel the same you might want to just sell it because your refund will take almost a month.

It looks like the prongs are broken on one side where it plugs into the grill.

To be fair, this is an overgrown george foreman grill with a lid but it does do small scale basic grilling for less than $40.

I treated it as a $40 gamble that worked.
