A 2 lbs pork shoulder roast fits perfectly. I like these small crock pots because they are great for making smaller amounts. Also plan to use it to simmer potpourri in the fall.

It’s a gem. Works well. Very sturdy.

In an hour all of the water is absorbed, the oat are dried out, burnt to a medium brown and stuck to the sides. The crock has to be soaked to remove. It cannot be used as a crock pot. Do not buy this crockpot.

Threw in dumpster and ordered different brand. China junk. The housing is nice, but the stoneware is flawed and does not fit properly.

The heating element shows no continuity on the multimeter. It gets real hot only the exterior only. It definitely heats up the outside on the metal, which can burn you so be careful.
