I installed it over a supporting wood frame mounted horizontally on existing studs as the mounting holes on this screen do not align to the studs in our wall

The left side is about an inch or maybe two shorter than the right side

I adjusted the projected picture to use as much of the screen as possible and that means you can definitely notice the irregularity if the lights are on in the room

But the fact is that this is an economy screen and the viewing surface is optically uniform no wrinkles or streaks
