Pros & Cons
Pros
Elixer strings sound amazing and will bring the life back to your instrument. I normally use sit strings but unfortunately they don’t have bass strings with a nano coating. Have these on both a usa p bass and musicman stingray.
This is the mellow tone i’ve been looking for. One of my goals is to get endorsed by this company.
The brightness is unparalleled. The highs are crisp and bright. The nickel-plated steel construction provides a balanced and warm tone, with a full-bodied low end and crisp highs.
Nanoweb coating allows your fingers to effortlessly glide across the fretboard. Coating keeps these strings from etching the fingerboard.
Cons
Elixir have nanoweb coating, these do not. Daddario and ernie ball's low-rent, over-rated and * strings are even better than these. Get ghs or dr or something.
Highlights
Quality
They are built to last, allowing you to play for extended periods without worrying about them breaking or losing their quality.
They provide a very nice clean sound that has a nice sustaining effect, and best of all, the strings remain this way for a long time.
I've had them on for a month now after playing for hours a day, and purposely not cleaning the strings, they still brand new to me.
I was previously impressed with the ghs pressure wounds, which sounded great out of the box, but went dull after only a few wee... Read More

Competitiveness
Play these once and you'll never consider any other brands again.
I have recently tried a competitor string due to the shortage of elixir supply, there is nothing that compares to elixir strings.
If you’re not well experienced with bass strings or torn between another brand, spend the extra buck and get these you will not regret it.
