Pros

Taylor and ibanez guitars come pre strung with elixirs. Taylor and takamine are my work horses. They get played daily whether rehearsing, recording, or performing.

These sound great on my small bodied, short scale om guitar. Yes they get a little flaky where the pick strikes the strings.

Cons

The elixer a string fails between the first and second fret. The coating on these strings completely nullifies any of the string technology itself.
