Pros

Both the nickels and steels sound great. The nickeles are a bit warmer and thenickels are abit brighter. They sound very metallic and super crisp, after a month of playing them 5 hours a week, they are still quite crisp.

Flatwounds have a much different feel and, in fact, produce different calluses. Slapping and popping is mixed.

The price tag is capital s steep, for me anyways but they're beyond worth it! Yes, it is worth it. Anyways.

Cons

For $40 having any mismatched strings is unacceptable but mismatched and incorrect, gets me feeling irked.

These strings are very well made with excellent quality, they produce beautiful sound.

These elixer strings i have been using for 11 years and they are the best durable strings that sound great for longer time.

The coating never peels or flakes off.

Hadn’t changed strings since march, it’s been 7 months before they showed signs of needing to be changed.

Price

So since they cost twice as much the only benefit is less string changes (which is ok.

But for the price, it is worth trying them out.

Also this is such a good price for them.

Competitiveness

I bought a set and instantly began comparing them to the nanoweb nickle set.

They live up to their name, they do last way longer than any others i've ever used, at least 3 times longer if not more.

I don't think i'll ever choose another brand for my bass strings.
