It is hard to tighten the bolts but this is a great product that can be moved easily and i love it has no cords/plugs.
It works great for what i needed, it hs a tension knob that works good
After 6 months, operation is nearly silent unlike other ellipticals i have owned.
A screw was missing from the kit, and there was a clicking sound every time i turned the wheel.
Price
For the price paid the merach elliptical and rower i purchased seem to be solid well built units.
Shipping
Delivery was amazing, 2 people delivered the box to the second floor (thank gawd).
Had some noise issues and customer service took care of it very quickly, happy with the outcome!
Packaging/appearance
By that time, i am sure the packaging and delivery will be improved.
I was concerned because of the hassle it would take to return this 300+ pound piece of equipment, as the packaging was gone.
Competitiveness
This speaks a lot about the integrity of the merach brand and that they stand behind their product no matter what.

Like similar ellipticals center mast bolts need tightening every so often

Did find the plastic covers covering bolts attaching the arms squeaked from rubbing friction against the crossbar

After the initial assembly there was a rubbing noise on the front left handle where it connects to the pedal bar

Had to disassemble at that joint and used some high end bicycle bearing grease to lube the pin in the joint
