Pros

These are my favorite - they are purple so you can see where you are gluing, but like acme ink, they disappear and dry clear. Goes on tinted, dries clear.

They are solidly glued together. I use this to glue parchment style paper to wood and it works great.

It dries quickly and washes out easily from your hands or clothes. Won't last forever, washable and non-toxic. It's washable, safe andnon-toxis.

Extra strength school glue sticks are a good case in point. This glue stick actually sticks. It really is extra strength and holds very well.

Cons

Even when the kids are not pressing hard on them, the glue comes off in chunks and then they use craft sticks to mash it down. While still a decent value for the price, this is not what is being advertised for sale.

The very first day this arrived, i used it for something.

The package it came in indicated that the stick would be a shade of purple as many other glue sticks are.

While wrapping gifts i had to rebuild a box.

But i can tell you that the glue stick works well, just as effectively as past elmer's glue sticks i've used.

It does have a very strong scent that is similar to sharpees.
