Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

Clean out the loose material in the repair area. There is a lot of material left in the kit, so i hope it will not get hard.

The product comes in two small tubs and you can mix as small an amount as you need. The consistency is a little thinner than peanut butter after mixing. Easy to work with, dried in a day, and sanded to a smooth finish.

This stuff is awesome. Easy to work and said. Paints nicely. Very satisfied. Nice work elmer's.

Elmer's makes two different epoxy repair products, this and the e761. This is somewhat thicker after being mixed. The benefit of this glue is the quantity.

Cons

The hardener is now too thick and dried out so the epoxy does not absorb and the joints are no longer glued together.

Quality

I was about to call a tub repair person when i found this product.

Once put in the hole of the tub, i manipulated the chemical with a q-tip until i was satisfied with the look of it.

Price

The price was excellent and free 2 day shipping with prime was much better than going to the big box stores.

Shipping

Upon further inspection, it appeared that the staining on the box must have been from some other item prior to shipping.

Packaging/appearance

The reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is the packaging.

Packaging arrived looking as though the product had leaked.

I discovered a huge crack in my bathtub which was devastating because i love to soak in the tub.

(we could probably get two or three pretty good-sized repairs out of the package.

Competitiveness

I put them in ziplock bags when finished bc it was very messy.
